During literacy we have started to learn more about inferring. We used the sentence prompt I think_____ because to help us make inferences about the following pictures. You can practice this comprehensions strategy with me when reading.
In writing we used our poem organizers to create our poem. First we had to highlight which ideas we wanted to use. Then we had to think about how to organize our ideas. We will be using the following criteria to think about how we can make our writing better. We will be aiming for the middle target of the bulls eye.
During our read aloud of Halifax Explodes! we worked in our Illustrators Notebooks to create a character page.
In art we discussed Maud Lewis art. Ask me about something I noticed or learned.
