We will be having a small celebration for Valentine's Day on February 12. It is your child's and family's choice if you wish to participate or not. We ask that if your child chooses to give out cards, that they include everyone in their class, to avoid hurt feelings. Mrs. McDougal's class has 24 students and Ms. MacDonald's class has 24 students.
Also, as a reminder, we ask that you not include any food items with your Valentine's.

We had an amazing assembly this afternoon as the Grade 1 students shared some of their work for their Celebration of Learning.
Today in math we continued to work on solving word problems and selecting strategies to help us work through different problems. Feel free to take sometime to work on the problem below.
In art we worked on drawing different animals from the wetlands. Ask me about which animals I tried to draw.
