Field trip Reminder (Ms. MacDonald's class): We would just like to remind you that your child will be going on a field trip to Ralph Klein Park on Monday, February 3rd and Tuesday, February 4th. To ensure your child is prepared, please make sure your child has:

A leak proof water bottle that is filled and ready to go
A packed lunch and snacks
Dressed in layers
Outdoor boots
Mittens or gloves and a warm hat
Warm winter jacket

STEAM Club notice: Steam club will be canceled on Feb 3^rd and 4^th due to the grade 2 Ralph Klein field trip. STEAM club will resume on Feb 10^th and 11^th and the Monday group will make up the day they missed on Feb 24^th and the Tuesday group on Feb 18^th.

In writing we learned about personification and wrote personification poems. Ask me about the poem I wrote today. You can watch this video about personification.

In social we compared two similar forms of transportation from the past and present. We thought about what was the same and different and some of the pros and cons to the different forms of transportation in the past and present. Take sometime to discuss the pros and cons of the different pictures below.
