Today in math we continued to work on our doubles problem. We focused on showing our thinking and how we doubled a number. Below are a few ways we tried showing our thinking. Some of us used pictures, a number line or decomposed the numbers.
In writing today we match descriptive phrases to arctic animals and decided which animals perspective we would like to write from.
Today in social we learned about what winter and summer look like in the arctic. We where surprised to learn that the sun never sets in the summer time. Ask me about something I learned. We are going to start think why people would choose to live in the Arctic.
Today in art we practiced drawing different arctic animals. Ask me about which animal I tried to draw.
