First thing this morning we created our own skip counting puzzles and then a friend try to solve it.
We finished reading our book called The New Land - A First Year on the Prairie.
Some things we noticed
- the land is important - they planted food and used the sod for their house
- you need water to survive - they dug a well
- you have to get ready for the winter that is long and cold
We then created a page in our visual journals to show the important things we noticed about the land.
During math we worked on our zoo keeper problem finding solutions for our chosen number of legs.
We used a checklist during writing time today to help us make sure our work was good quality. Today we only focused on making sure we had used capital letters and periods correctly.
We logged onto the computers today. It will be easier if I memorize my student number. we talked about safety and not sharing passwords and student numbers with others. We also learned to be patient.
