Today during writing we began talking about how to add details and descriptive words to make our writing more interesting. First we had to draw details on a house. Then we had to use shape words, direction words, colour words and line words to describe our house. Tomorrow we will read our writing to a friend and see if they can draw our house.
During health we reviewed what whole body listening should look like and what volume of voice we should have in the classroom depending on the activity. We also started our yellow zone pages and talked about what we can do to move out of the yellow zone. Ask me about a strategy that helps me move into the green zone.
During Science we started working in our I can books. This is where we glue in an I can statement then show our work to achieve the I can statement. In science we had to label and sketch the experiments we tried to show our understanding. Ask me about the science stations I worked at and the I can statements I worked on today.
