Wednesday October 16

We all looked very snazzy for picture day.

We are learning that every number has it own spot in the number line.  Here we are after we figured out where each person's number belonged.

We are word collectors.  Today we continued our search for interesting words we could use in the place of the word "said".  While reading our novel, Pioneer Kids by Frieda Wishinsky we found several alternatives.

muttered
stammered
cried

We also tried to add a describing word to our writing by explaining what something looked like or felt like.

"I put the smooshing stuffing in the turkey."

Why did and do people choose to live in the Prairies?

We shared some of our thoughts but will be gathering more information as we explore the prairies in the next few weeks.

What are the responsibilities of people working in our building?  We started to figure out what different people in our building do.

Reminders:
Oct. 25 - Fun Lunch - Little Caesars
Oct. 31 - Early Dismissal
