Today in social we began to graph the temperatures in the communities of Calgary, Iqluit, and Halifax. Ask me about which community had the coldest temperature today.
Today during our literacy block we reviewed what digraphs are and practiced finding them during reading to self. Tonight while reading with me you can help me find words with digraphs. Here is a brief video that we watched to review the different digraph sounds.
We also continued our conversation around the zones of regulation and made a page for the green zone. Ask me how I should feel in the green zone and what I need to help me be in the green zone.
In art we took some time to reflect on Salvador Dali's painting Ship with Butterfly Sails. We thought about what we saw and then practiced analyzing the painting by thinking about the colours and focal point. We also began to practice drawing what we saw.
