Monday October 7

This is what we did in Grade 2 today:

We picked new books for our book bins during Book Shopping time this morning and learned that learning books are called non-fiction

and stories are called fiction.

We started with guided reading and some groups had a change to read with the teachers.

During math we created our own number lines by cutting a hundreds chart into 10's and then glueing it together.  We then played Race to 100.  

We had Music after lunch - ask me about the new work we did today.

We built words with the letters in the big word - chipmunk.  See how many you can build at home.

During Social studies we looked at pictures and tried to figure out where they belong on the map of Canada.

 Important notice from the parent association is coming home as well as movie night tickets if you ordered them.
